These last few weeks after vacation have been a little hectic. I have nearly completed my thesis, almost done with this quarter of school, and am working on my presentation for the thesis (happening next week...cue the nerves!). Needless to say, I have been very busy, but am hanging in there.
I, of course, needed a small break and wanted to make some new jewelry. I was inspired by the wire jewelry I have been seeing everywhere, and wanted to try something new. I saw a Youtuber make a really pretty bracelet, so I wanted to test it out myself.
This was the result:
After a few failed attempts, I finally got the wire bending down...could this be a new Nickelodeon show?
I write, I am not a comedian. Moving on...
I wanted to incorporate some other texture in a different piece, so I decided to add this yarn/string and the word "love", because why not add a little cliché, right? Anyway, I really love how it turned out...see what I did there? Yeah, yeah, I know, I know.
(If you have made it this far, I almost feel bad for you. And you probably should find another blog to read. JUST kidding!) ;)
Also, can we please talk about OITNB and why I have not started this obsession any sooner? I have also cried more during a show about tough prison lesbian chicks than I did when Chandler and Monica got married. I don't know which is worse.
Maybe in my next post, I will have a little more substantial material, but until then, enjoy!
